After Alphabet of Plants and Animals, Émilie Vast introduces little ones to numbers. A doe, two swans, three foxes… the double-page spreads offer counting numbers from 1 to 10 animals. The left-hand pages present four ways to represent numbers: with numbers, letters, squares, and fingers. On the right-hand pages, children have fun counting a collection of bears, mice, squirrels, or snails, and thus associate the number of animals with their numbers.
