A tale forgotten by humans . . .“ One night, the deer heard the tale being told; the story of the first cautious steps of a little girl. This tale has travelled the Earth, deposited here by the badger, whispered by the oak, sung into the distance by the river, brought close by the clouds . . . until the day when it almost died and sank into oblivion. But a swallow carried it to Africa, where it continued its journey before returning to the great-grandson of the old owl. The little girl then appears in the snow, in front of the eyes of all the animals, who have of course already heard about her. Her story begins. We must let it continue . . .
