Piccadilly Circus, by Alex Cousseau and Gaya Wisniewski
A double-decker bus, a turn to the right, off to the mountain. As the kilometres pass, the road becomes a meeting place for passengers. First the Mustard brothers, two biker raccoons, then Kersanton and his big backpack, the Pistrelle bat sisters and the mute stranger, a large refrigerator that must be hoisted onto the bus. Some stay, others leave. Friendship remains. The journey continues and a delicate snowflake joins the group. The mountains shouldn’t be very far away anymore…
Featuring a gallery of characters, animate and inanimate, Alex Cousseau and Gaya Wisniewski celebrate friendship, the power and pleasure of the imagination, and the enchantment of everyday life.
