Ouvre et découvre, a series by Stéphane Frattini
A series of photo-documentaries with lift-the-flap pages, where the images form visual riddles that are as entertaining as they are spectacular. Ah! The magic of close-ups of the living world! We scrutinise the details of an eye or a coat, the shape of an ear, a paw or a bottom… And straight away we try to guess which animal it belongs to.
From 3 to 103 years old, the urge to play is immediate. Nature (animals, plants, minerals) offers such a diversity of shapes and colours that it isn’t always easy to get it right. Fortunately, the correct answer is hidden beneath the flap, along with a photo of the subject in full and some factual information (written in the first person) to discover its distinctive features.
Card book with 16 flaps, 20 x 20 cm
First two titles: Beautiful Eyes, Seen From Behind
