It is early summer and Jumper has lost his master at the train station.
Having ventured ahead to go and sniff a trash-can, Jumper has to face the fact: Francis has gone missing. Jumper sets off on a tracking mission and follows the rails all the way to a little station in the suburbs. He is there picked up by Groucho who takes him to a derelict train which serves as a shelter for abandoned dogs.
