Little Red Riding Hood – the scene of the nightgown

Le Petit Chaperon rouge, la scène de la chemise de nuit, by Jean-Luc Buquet

We all know the story. Little Red Riding Hood meets the wolf in the woods. He shows her the longest way to go to Grand-Ma’s, takes the shortest way, imitates Little Red Riding Hood’s voice and takes Grand-Ma’s place in the bed.

What we forget is that it can be hard to put on a nightgown when you’re a wolf. Do you start with the front legs? The back legs maybe? Is it easier to help yourself with your mouth? But the gown tears up. And the Little Red Riding Hood is to arrive any minute now!
